When Willie's brother Tom went to visit him in London, they returned to Willie's flat after a night out.

"You take the bed and I'll sleep in a sleeping bag on the floor. You're the guest", said Willie.

"No, I won't put you out of your own bed," Tom insisted, "I'll take the floor and you take the bed."

They couldn't reach agreement but as they argued about it, the night grew later and later. In the morning, they woke up to find they'd both fallen asleep exactly where they were sitting-- Tom on the couch and Willie in the chair. Nobody used either the bed or the floor.
