So very sad and sorry to here of Willie's passing. I was unaware of this awful event until today when he popped into my head for no reason I can figure. We had mony a blithe stravaig thegither . My abiding memory of him is in the early internet days when I was ignorantly dismissive of it's potential . Over a pint (okay several !) in the Royal Oak he explained in a manner I could understand, how it would eventually change and control everything. Then he played some rare tunes. --At last I thought a Folk polymath ! Like all of the Folkies,friends and family I am deeply saddened by the passing of my fellow Dundonian Friend
